TS 16949 Certification

ISO/TS 16949 is a term that refers to a standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The latest version of this standard is IATF 16949:2016 and is titled "Quality management systems-Particular necessities for the application of ISO 9001:2008 for automotive production and significant service part organizations". The standard was developed by members of the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), a group of automotive manufacturers and trade associations. The ISO/TS 16949 standard is based on ISO 9001 and includes exact necessities from the automotive sector for the design/development, production, installation and servicing of all automotive-related products.
